Position Summary
We are hiring a Head Instructor, a disciplined and assertive leader who takes pride in precision, thrives on hard work, and is passionate about helping kids grow. This is not just a teaching position. It is an opportunity to own your role, lead a school, and earn your way into potential ownership or equity as you help grow the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead high quality Taekwondo classes for students ages 4 to 12
- Set the instructional tone and uphold a strong class culture
- Mentor and oversee assistant instructors and junior staff
- Maintain a structured, motivating, and detail oriented training environment
- Communicate clearly with parents and teammates
- Drive student engagement, retention, and advancement
- Uphold KOMA’s standards of excellence in curriculum, discipline, and presentation
- Support outreach efforts and special events that contribute to school growth
- Take ownership of the student experience and contribute to studio development
You Are a Great Fit If You
- Hold a Black Belt in Taekwondo (Required)
- Have experience teaching kids and enjoy it
- Are assertive, confident, and highly disciplined
