"KOMA in Prairie Village is amazing! My 7 year old absolutely loves it. I have not seen staff this wonderful anywhere else. Mrs. Crandall, the studio director is delightful. The instructors are knowledgable, fun, kind, professional and most of all patient. My daughter has ADHD and class type settings are normally a struggle for her. But she can’t wait to go to each class. They redirect her so well and maintain her attention the whole time. They are helping her build confidence, focus, discipline, respect, and core strength. We are so happy we found it."

"Absolute amazing experience for our 6 year old. Now in his 5th week, we have seen his confidence and maturity grow exponentially. Mr. Grysban is an amazing instructor and role model. Mrs. Crandall is a wonderful ambassador who made us feel valued and welcomed immediately. Love the people and love this place. Highly recommend KOMA for every kid!"

"We are so incredibly happy to have discovered KOMA Prairie Village. We initially had to bribe our son to try the class (the pancakes were tasty 😋) but one session with Mrs. Crandall and he was all in. She was amazing. He’s now in Mr. Grysban’s class and asked to come every day. I can’t say enough about him. Mr. Grysban interacts well with everyone ~ including parents. Watching our son’s confidence grow from week to week then practice enthusiastically at home (oftentimes on me 🥴) has been well worth the investment. I’m grateful for KOMA."

"We love this place! A modern take on the traditional dojang with an emphasis on character building and the principles of Taekwondo over the competitive aspects. So it is a really friendly place with great people, but they do practice all of the formal etiquette and use of Korean terms with great respect. The system they use for progression in learning is both highly motivating and easy to understand. My kiddo loves going!"

FAQs

Does the Intro cost anything?

No. The Intro to KOMA is completely complimentary.

Is this right for my child's age and experience level?

KOMA serves children ages 5 through adult, with classes grouped by age and skill level. No prior martial arts experience is needed. Most students start with none. The Intro is designed for beginners.

How often does a child need to come?

Consistency drives results. We offer classes after school during the week and Saturday morning options. Students can start with one class per week and build from there.

How much does enrollment cost?

Tuition varies by program and training frequency. We share clear, specific pricing after your intro, once we have seen your child train and can recommend the right program for your family. No pressure, no surprises.
