Ko Martial Arts is a premium martial arts and character development academy serving families across three locations in Johnson County. We began as a family school and have grown into an academy known for developing confident, respectful, disciplined students.

We are looking for an Enrollment and Community Manager to lead our Prairie Village studio. This is a business leadership role, not a classroom or childcare role. You will be the face of the studio in the community, the first person families meet when they walk in, and the one who owns the studio's growth. Our instructors lead the classes. You lead the growth. If you want real responsibility and want to see your work show up in real results, this role was built for you.

Our best candidates come from private schools, premium early education campuses, and private clubs, where the standard of service is high and every family relationship matters.

What You Will Own

• Studio growth: You are accountable for net student growth at Prairie Village, which means both new enrollments and retention.
• Community outreach: Build relationships with local schools, preschools, churches, scout groups, and neighborhood organizations, and bring KOMA to the families they serve through events and workshops.
• Enrollment: Respond quickly to new inquiries, book and deliver introductory classes, lead enrollment conversations with parents, and follow up with families who have not yet decided.
• Retention: Guide new families through their first 30 days, reach out when attendance drops, and turn concerns into loyalty.
• Events: Fill Parents Night Out, guest week, and birthday parties, and personally welcome every guest family at Saturday birthday parties and scout events.
• Front desk: Greet every family by name, keep check in running smoothly, and answer questions about schedules and billing.
• Weekly review: Meet with leadership each week to review the studio's numbers, and come with a plan to improve them.

Who You Are

• A leader who wants to be accountable for results
• Warm and confident with parents, able to guide a family toward a decision without pressure
• Comfortable walking into a school or community event and starting conversations
• Organized and quick with follow up, so no family falls through the cracks
• Comfortable learning software for scheduling, billing, and family communication

Experience Required

• At least 2 years in a family facing or member facing role at a premium organization, such as a private school, a premium early education campus like Primrose or Goddard, or a private golf or country club
• Experience growing enrollment, membership, or admissions with a goal you were responsible for hitting
• A track record of delivering a high end experience to families or members who expect excellence
• Martial arts experience is welcome but not required

Schedule

Full time, about 40 hours a week. Afternoons are for outreach and follow up, and evenings and Saturdays are on the floor with families:

• Monday and Wednesday: 12:00 PM to 7:45 PM
• Tuesday and Thursday: 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Friday: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, including birthday parties and scout events
• Some community events fall outside these hours, and your schedule shifts to match

Compensation

• Base salary of $40,000 to $45,000, depending on experience
• Quarterly growth bonus based on net student growth at the studio
• Managers who grow the studio can earn $50,000 or more in total pay
